This opportunity is for an Engineer on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will perform product design and analysis work for a defined portion of a project within a team environment. Provide input to design solutions, participate in design reviews and develop recommendations within established guidelines. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.
  • Produce and/or evaluates possible design solutions that meet product requirements for cost, quality and performance based on knowledge of engineering applications while working within a cross-functional team.
  • Execute high level applications to more complex problems.
  • Analyze assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope.
  • Compile and furnish necessary information to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design into production (engineering decisions, reports, part drawings and bill-of-material).
  • Provide technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations.
  • Support development and execution of test and/or analysis plan for product verification and validation.

  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Science discipline or equivalent experience.
  • University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
  • Perform more complex functions, understand principles and may teach others.
  • Experience using Creo parametric.
  • Understanding of engineering principles, theory and practice as they relate to Product Design.
  • Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific to Agriculture and farming practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Engineering experience related to Product Design - 2 - 5 years.
  • Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases. - 2 - 5 years.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. - 1 - 3 years.
